Artist Statement
When words alone fail, singing is the way I express myself unfiltered.
My earliest memory of truly feeling music was watching Beyoncé’s “If I Were a Boy.” I was five years old, but something in the honesty of her voice reached me before I had the words or experience to understand it. I sang that song like I’d already known heartbreak, because some truths don’t come from living; they’re felt in the soul.
Today, I create original R&B as an open conversation about life, often my own. Music is my therapy. It’s how I process, heal, and tell the truth. Writing and performing allow me to release what I carry and make sense of the experiences that shape me. By sharing my story, I hope my music can offer others the same sense of understanding and comfort it has given me.
My work explores grief and celebration, love and loss, and the many relationships we form along the way. Inspired by the raw vulnerability of artists like Beyoncé, Jazmine Sullivan, and Whitney Houston, I perform fully and from the heart. My goal is simple: to create connection through honest expression, and to honor healing, growth, and authenticity; imperfections included.
